Alonso Transmission

I recently brought my 2017 Toyota Tacoma to Alonso Transmission for a complete transmission repair, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. I had previously contacted several other shops and was quoted astronomical prices, along with wait times ranging from two weeks to over a month. After doing some additional research, I came across Alonso Transmission and decided to give them a call. From the very beginning, Aaron treated me with nothing but respect and professionalism. He took the time to explain my transmission issue in detail and answered all of my questions with an impressive level of knowledge—even before seeing the truck in person. That first conversation immediately gave me confidence that my truck was in good hands. I dropped the Tacoma off the following morning, and they had the entire repair completed in just two days. Not only was the turnaround time incredible, but the price was also significantly better than every other shop I had contacted in the area. I highly recommend Alonso Transmission to anyone looking for honest, knowledgeable, and reliable transmission work. Aaron and his team went above and beyond, and I’ll definitely be coming back if I ever nee

Paid $5,700 for a transmission rebuild on my 2019 Silverado. Six months later: engine codes, hard shifting, parts replaced again. Six months after that same issues now they want another $800 to do an electronic flash. Why wasn’t this done in the first place I ask, well the technology for whatever that is did not exist until, uh, after my truck was last there. Of course it didn’t. Then suggested I just sell the truck because it was 7 years old and “getting old”. When I brought it back once again still driving terribly, Ralph then said he’ll put me on “a list” if I didn’t pay for more “repairs”. Huh? My experience was an entire scam. There’s a reason their transmission warranty is only 360 days. Buyer beware.

Ralph is a trusted transmission expert, this review is long overdue. He did the transmission for my husbands 2016 Toyota Tacoma about a year ago with excellent results and no more slipping. He most recently recommended a mobile diesel mechanic to come service a cummins shifter truck that had lost its linkage - -who through Ralph's advice was able to fix it with a couple of tips avoiding us towing the truck to his shop and saved us a lot of money. Thank you ALONSO transmissions.

I had an amazing experience at Alonso Transmission in Miami. The customer service is truly on point from start to finish. Ralph was the one who helped me, and he couldn’t have been nicer—super professional, honest, and took the time to explain everything clearly. It’s hard to find people you can trust with your car, but Ralph made the whole process smooth and stress-free. You can tell they really care about their customers and the quality of their work. Highly recommend—definitely a 5-star experience!

If I could give more than five stars, I would! I brought in my 20-year-old car that is in great shape but with its original transmission, it started to slip and show signs of wear and tear. knowing it was finally time for major repairs. From the moment I walked in, Alonso Transmission, Ralph.. the owner and his awesome son, they treated me like family. I highly recommend Alonso Transmission. My 20-year-old car needed a complete transmission overhaul, and they handled it with total professionalism. They were honest about the parts needed and kept me informed throughout the process It is rare to find a shop with this much integrity and heart. Thank you to the team for taking such great care of me and my car! I got another 20 yrs with my car. They took my 20-year-old vehicle and made it run like new. The team is incredibly kind and treats everyone like family. So grateful to have found them!. Well worth the time and costs
